Stop Motion is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.

Stop Motion allows students to unleash their creativity and imagination and tests their patience as they have to move the objects carefully and slowly in order to achieve excellent results. It also develops students in narrative and plot building through storyboarding and pre-planning.

Students can create their own props and characters, having full control on their end product!
