Claymation is one of many forms of stop motion animation. Each picture is captured on digital camera and then played back in rapid succession to achieve an illusion of continuous motion.

In claymation, each object is shaped in clay or plasticine and then they are arranged on the background. A picture is taken before the objects or characters are then moved slightly by hand. This cycle is repeated until the whole sequence of animation is achieved.

Claymation is a great learning tool to encourage students to learn more about various subjects including National Education, Social Studies and English storywriting. It also encourages cooperative learning and the development of mental and psycho motor skills.

With claymation, your classroom will become an active learning environment!
